Edge Hill University was founded in 1885 and currently hosts 15,000 students. The University is known for the high quality of its Computing, Business and Teacher Training courses, and was awarded Times Higher Education ‘University of the Year’ Award in 2014 following nominations in 2008, 2011 and 2012, and most recently in 2020.
