Bangor University achieved a Gold Award for ‘outstanding teaching’ in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). 

Based between the mountains and the sea in north Wales, Bangor University has around 10,000 students studying a wide range of subjects including Accounting & Finance, Forestry and Conservation, Psychology, Law, Music, Ocean Sciences, English Literature and Language, Medical Sciences, Nursing, and Zoology.

Bangor University came within the top 10 in the University of the Year category at the 2019 Whatuni Student Choice Awards, and this success is reflected in comments left by our student reviewers, many of whom have nothing but great things to say about their entire time studying at Bangor.
