The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge officially opened the university’s new £59million Health and Life Science building in January 2018. The University has won the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education on five occasions, while the institution is a Top 50 UK employer for women and leading UK universities in tackling the unequal representation of women in science and engineering.
